ProfiScript has been launched

The first professional version of the certification tool ‘ProfiScript' for the automatic testing of DP, DP-V1 and PA devices has officially been launched.

ProfiScript is a professional tool that can test and verify the complete protocol functionality of DP, DP-V1 and PA devices. It has enormous flexibility and is very easy to use. At this moment It is the only tool available, which can power-up/down devices by an external intelligent power switch and has the capability of remote testing by the Internet. An implemented syntax interpreter can also test the GSD file.

This tool will save you time and money during your development and certification phase! It is already in use by the PROFIBUS testlabs. The result you get will certainly reflect in the testlabs and if you want we can even take a peek from our office to help you get the best results.

Training in Tokyo, Japan

On 15, 16 and 17 July, PROCENTEC has in cooperation with the Japanese PROFIBUS Organization, trained a group of 18 Japanese engineers in the art of ‘PROFIBUS Product Development’.

PROFIBUS experts, Dennis van Booma and Paulo Silva took care of the lectures and demonstrations. Especially the first-class test tool ‘ProfiScript’ was presented.
With this training the knowledge and experience level of the engineers in the roadmap from product specifications up to certification has increased enormously.

Engineering & Troubleshooting training in Singapore

In August 2003, a large group of project engineers from Yokogawa Asia was trained by PROCENTEC in plant engineering and troubleshooting.

The engineers will be responsible for some large projects in which asset management and total costs of ownership will be an important factor. Yokogawa is the leading supplier of process automation solutions and field instruments for the world market.

Training in Las Vegas, USA

On 27 and 28 October 2003, we have trained a group of engineers in the art of ‘PROFIBUS Product Development’.

PROFIBUS experts, Dennis van Booma and Paulo Silva took care of the lectures and demonstrations. Especially the first-class test tool ‘ProfiScript’ was presented.
With this training the knowledge and experience level of the engineers in the roadmap from product specifications up to certification has increased enormously.

Certified Engineer courses in the Netherlands

PROCENTEC is the next institute (after the USA, UK and Switzerland) that will conduct Certified Engineer training courses.

Classes will be organized in Dutch and English language and are open for all countries.

ISO 9001:2000 Certified

On the 10th of February 2003, PROCENTEC has been officially ISO 9001 certified.

With this ISO certification the next step in the evolution of PROCENTEC has been set. All business units have been undergoing a reorganisation to comply to a Quality Management System and all primary processes are described (training, troubleshooting, engineering, commissioning and the test laboratory).
This certification makes PROCENTEC accessible for governmental companies, army and large enterprises which demand an ISO certificate from all their service providers and suppliers.

PTO Membership

PROCENTEC is a member of the PROFIBUS Trade Organization in the USA (PTO).

This membership will make it much easier for american companies to get in contact with PROCENTEC. It is our goal to expand our services and products in the US market with the focus on: Engineering support for plant owners, PA certification, product development and training.

Seminar for the Process Industry in Denmark

On 3 and 4 June 2003 a seminar for PROFIBUS in the Process Industry was organized in in Denmark.

Paulo Silva, one of the support engineers of PROCENTEC gave a presentation about the technology of PROFIBUS PA.

Trade fair: Electronics & Automation 2003

In March 2003, PROCENTEC participated on the trade fair Electronics & Automation 2003 where it promoted PROFIBUS technology.

On a running demonstrator, which consisted out of DP and PA equipment, the visitors could experience the openness of PROFIBUS. PROCENTEC promoted troubleshooting & engineering services for plant owners and a new line of PROFIBUS training courses.

Trade fair: Elektrotechniek 2003

On 29 September to 3 October 2003, PROCENTEC participated on the trade fair ‘Elektrotechniek’ in Utrecht (NL), on which it promoted the new concept of ‘Installation certification’. This new service formula will be the guarantee for plant-owners, integrators and installers that the installation is working properly.

New building

In October 2003 the PROFIBUS Center has moved to a new building. Because of the fast growth, a larger infrastructure was needed.

Our brand new building offers a lot of facilities for our training courses, workshops, seminars, product testing and R&D activities.
