We can be contracted for onsite emergency troubleshooting based
on standard fees. In most
cases an engineer can be made available within 8 hours. All
the tools are at our disposal to work as efficient as possible:
busmonitors, scopes, analyzers, service and diagnostic software.

 Training
Our training programme is very successful. Up to now, more
than 4.000 participants have received a certificate.
The costs incurred for engineering, assembly, commissioning
and maintenance always play a key role when choosing
a fieldbus. We train our participants that the implementation
of PROFIBUS can help to cut costs in all areas. Our practical
experience is the key factor!
At this moment we have more than 8 different types of PROFIBUS
training modules which are organised on a regular basis.
Training courses are also organised on customer request and
location.

Installation certification & Commissioning
 An
installation certification is a quality assurance for plant-owners
that the PROFIBUS installation complies to the standard and
is working properly before it is being put into commission.
By means of procedural checklists, we will verify that the
installation functions according to the functional specifications.
The following items are checked:

Terminating
resistors
Signal
quality and noise levels
Cycle
time and watchdog
Power
supplies
Protocol
quality
Busparameters
 Current
consumption per segment (PA)
Voltage
level per segment (PA)
Voltage
level on the last instrument (PA)
The results of the certification are written down in a detailed
test report. PROCENTEC has been doing installation audits for
a couple of years now. This activity has boosted the success
rate for a lot of projects, because of the detailed audit by

 Engineering
support
We can be called in for consultancy and project support concerning
all PROFIBUS matters. Because of the international quality
recognition we are often contracted for medium and large-scale
projects, in Europe and abroad. From the planning phase up
to the commissioning phase, we can assist an integrator, end-user
and plant owner with their project.
During the planning phase we can help with the schematics,
calculations and the component selection. Our engineers have
experience with hundreds of available components and instruments.

 Product
certification
We are an official PROFIBUS Test Laboratory for the certification
of PROFIBUS devices. In our laboratory vendors can have their
products tested on PROFIBUS compatibility. Based upon the positive
test reports from the laboratory, PROFIBUS International issues
certificates for the tested devices.

 Product
development
One of our primary expertises is the development of PROFIBUS
interfaces on client specification. We have done projects for
a variety of companies, which manufacture sensors, actuators
and controllers. According to the client's specifications the
PROFIBUS interface is developed. In most cases this is a combination
of custom hardware and software. With most PROFIBUS implementations
a protocol ASIC is used to release the microprocessor from
the demanding protocol. Most implementations are based on an
SPC3, DPC31 or LSPM2 ASIC.
